We Recreate

Since 2014, our organization has implemented projects financed through EU Programme Erasmus+ and the team members have been part of similar other projects, successfully coordinating and implementing them.

Conquer the labour market

One of these projects was `Conquer the labour market`, a project that tackled a major concern of the European society, i.e. youth unemployment and the difficulties faced by young people in their search for a job. The premise of the project was that young people all around the European Union are a generation at risk and therefore concrete measures have to be taken by authorities and applied activities are to be organized by the civil society. The objective was to train the youth for the European labour market. 50 young people with ages between 18-25, from four different countries came to Timisoara for seven days to develop knowledge on how to tackle the demanding labour market. The many activities included: self-knowledge through theater pedagogy and open discussions on the experiences they encountered in search for the perfect job, career plan, how to write a CV – Europass CV (the three types of CVs), interview preparation (role play – employer and employee) and create business plans. The main results achieved are the set of competences acquired by the participants: – better prepared to face an interview, – they know how to write a good CV, – they are better prepared in the search for competitive jobs, – they learned tips and tricks from entrepreneurs and learned how to create a strong business plan, – they became familiar with other cultures and languages, – they learned to be tolerant and to accept differences, – they have a better command of the English language, and most importantly they understood the concept of social inclusion. Furthermore, the participants learned how to interact with young people from disadvantaged groups and from rural areas.
